I've always loved nature and can't believe I went 29 years without knowing/seeing these adorable spiders. I found a lady on TikTok who had pet-jumping spiders, and after watching her videos, I fell in love with these harmless babies. I have always feared spiders, but there is something special about these little creatures that makes them hard to resist. Shortly after watching several videos and doing a lot of research, I decided to get my own. I overcame my fears and hoped to help you overcome yours as well.
Phidippus regius
The regal jumping spider belongs to the genus Phidippus, a group of jumping spiders easily identified both by their relatively large size and their iridescent chelicerae. The Phidippus Regius can have chelicerae that are blue, teal, green, gold, purple, pink, red and orange. Although females can have green and blue which are commonly seen in males, males are not noted to have the pinks and reds. They are extremely easy to take care of and you can develop a bond with them. It's not common for them to bite however symptoms are mostly limited to some localized swelling and pain unless the victim is allergic.
Shipping
I offer overnight shipping and 2-day shipping through Reptile Express/FedEx. Shipping is anywhere from $35-85, depending on where you live. I will not send your Spider if the weather conditions don't meet the recommendation. If anything is wrong with your spider, please notify me ASAP. I will not guarantee anything if 1 hour has passed from delivery time.
